To further deepen agricultural cooperation between China and Iraq and advance the exchange and development of veterinary vaccines, an expert group from the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture and officials of renowned enterprises paid an on-site inspection and exchange visit to Shandong Huahong Bioengineering Co., Ltd. from September 6 to 7, 2025. The visit aimed to explore trade cooperation opportunities in the field of veterinary vaccines and jointly boost the healthy and sustainable development of animal husbandry in both countries.

Warmly received by the senior management of Huahong Bio, the Iraqi delegation paid an in-depth visit to the company's production workshops, quality inspection center and laboratory animal houses. They gained a comprehensive understanding of the enterprise's advanced experience in veterinary vaccine research and development, production processes, quality control and technological innovation. The delegation spoke highly of Huahong Bio's sophisticated production equipment, rigorous quality management system and professional R&D capabilities.




Subsequently, the two sides held a cooperation negotiation meeting. Wang Yongming, General Manager of Huahong Bio, gave a detailed introduction to the company's product portfolio and highlighted the competitive edges of its products in the international market. The Iraqi delegation presented the domestic vaccine market demand and import policies, and expressed a strong desire to strengthen the national animal disease prevention and control system by introducing advanced Chinese veterinary vaccines. Targeting the local breeding characteristics in Iraq, both parties focused on discussing the application schemes of combined vaccines for poultry and sheep. To better meet the development demands of Iraq's animal husbandry industry, Huahong Bio put forward an advanced immunization optimization solution. This solution can cut immunization frequency by 40% while keeping the antibody qualification rate above 90%, effectively addressing various disease prevention and control challenges currently faced by Iraq.

Li Shicheng, Chairman of Huahong Biology, stated that this exchange marks a favorable start for bilateral cooperation.
